JUNIOR SEASON (2021)
Appeared in 25 games and made nine starts...Got the Opening Day start at second base...Also got starts at shortstop and as the designated player...Served primarily as a pinch runner during the latter portion of the season, but also made four starts over the last 13 games of the year...Hit .237 (9-for-38) during her junior season while adding seven RBI...All of her base hits were singles, but she proved to be an asset on the base paths...Stole a career high nine bases as a junior...Set a career high with three stolen bases in game one of a doubleheader against Southeast Whitfield on Sep.
13...Tied game highs for at-bats (4), runs (3) and RBI (3)...Had a productive stretch in the latter part of September...Filled in at shortstop for Zoe Wright in a doubleheader against Pickens (Sep. 24)...Combined to go 2-for-7 with two runs scored in the twin bill, including a 2-for-4 line in game one...Ended the month with a career high three RBI in a win over eventual Class AAAA State Champion Central (Sep. 28)...Ended the month of September by driving in both of the Generals’ runs in a loss to Central (Sep. 30)...Finished the series against the Lions with a 2-for-4 line with five RBI.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020)
One of only two Generals to appear in all 40 games in 2020 (Carmen Gayler)...Her 33 starts were spread across two positions - second base (29) and shortstop (4)...Started four games at shortstop due to an injury to starter Zoe Wright...Concluded her season with 32 consecutive starts at second base...Finished with a .356 (32-for-90) batting average, which was the seventh-highest on the team...Added a career high 10 RBI and nine walks...Also posted career highs in at-bats (90), runs (36), hits (32), and hit by pitch (3)...Her 32 singles ranked fifth on the team and were the most by an underclassman...Her 36 runs scored ranked fourth on a Heritage team that broke the school record for runs scored in a season...Also recorded the sixth-highest on-base percentage (.431)...Posted a career high for hits when she had three knocks against Southeast Whitfield on Aug. 27...Set a new career high for hit by pitches when she was plunked twice against Cedartown on Sep. 8...Tied her career high for walks (2) in a 17-0 win against Mays on Oct. 19...As an infielder, she was third on the team with 35 assists, and finished fifth in putouts with 39...Failed to make an error in 16 consecutive region games...Her offensive prowess and consistent defense led to her earning an All-Region selection as an infielder.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2019)
Appeared in 33 games during her freshman campaign...Made 25 starts at four different positions… Started ten games at second base, six at shortstop, one in left field and eight as the designated player...Hit .196 (11-for-56) during her rookie season and added three doubles, a triple, a home run and 7 RBI...Also walked eight times, which was tied for the third most free passes on the team...Had a very good start to the last month of the season where she opened the month with a four game hit streak... Posted two multi-RBI games in the first week of October...Hit .286 (2-for-7) combined in those games...Also had a multi-RBI game in a Dalton Lady Cat Invitational game against Adairsville (Aug. 17)...That game against the Tigers was her first multi-hit game as well...She was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and the previously mentioned two runs batted in...Hit her first career home run in the first round of the GHSA Class AAAA State Tournament against St. Pius...Slapped her first career triple in the Region 6-AAAA Championship series against LaFayette.
