Addie Edwards tallied 14 strikeouts in game one while the HHS offense scored runs in every inning in game two.
Woodstock, Ga. - The Heritage Generals softball team finished unbeaten in two Georgia Dugout Club Classic games on Saturday, tying Mount Paran Christian, 2-2, and defeating Lovett, 12-0.
The Generals improve to 5-1-1 on the season as the Region 7-AAAA schedule looms. Heritage opens the slate with defending champion Central, hosting the Lions Tuesday, August 22, and will travel to Carrollton on Thursday, August 24.
GAME 1 RECAP
Heritage opened the scoring in the bottom of the second inning. A leadoff double from Ella Blansit and a single for Jenna Ryans allowed Landry White to collect her first RBI of the season and bring home the game’s first run via a sacrifice fly.
The Generals extended their lead in the bottom of the fourth thanks to an RBI infield single from Bree Wilson. She finished the game 1-for-2 with the RBI single.
Addie Edwards spun her best game of the season in the circle. Despite two unearned runs, Edwards collected a season-high 14 strikeouts while scattering five hits across six innings of work. She has not allowed an earned run in 27.0 innings this season.

GAME 2 RECAP
The Generals produced a season-high 12 runs and concluded the GADC Classic with a four-inning run-rule win over Lovett.
Kelsey Anderson tossed a no-hitter in the win. It is the third solo no-hitter of her career and the first since Sep. 7, 2021, when she blanked Cedartown in game two of a doubleheader.
Brylee Pritchett and Bree Wilson recorded multi-hit games to pace the General offense. Pritchett drove in a game-high three RBI on the evening. She smacked a two-run double to cap a six-run bottom of the first.
Heritage also swiped a season-high four bags against the Lions. Ella Blansit, Alexis Faulkenberry, Jenna Ryans, and Bree Wilson each recorded a stolen base.
